Resin jewelry slice and the actual casting weight is inconsistent solution

The casting industry usually uses the wax film loss method to make models and pour molds, but some resins used may not have exact and clear resin density parameters, which leads to huge deviations in the weight of some customers before and after printing.

For example, my slice shows that I need 0.7 grams of this resin printed necklace pendant, but the weight measured by my actual print is 0.98 grams, so for my actual casting, I will use 0.98 grams of gold instead of 0.7 grams shown on my slice.

This is fatal for an honest business, but we can avoid this problem, in another way to think about it, since we need to cast the physical object, why don't we directly use the physical density of the required casting material to measure it? The volume is the same, the amount required is the same, the difference is only the density, the most needed is the density we want to cast.

Therefore, we can set the density of the resin in our slicing software to the density of the material we need to cast. For example, in the case of gold, we can change the value of 1.2g/ml at the density of the resin to 19.3g/ml, which will have a smaller error in our actual result.
