Description

Creality Ender-3 S1 printer
The package of Creality Ender 3 S1 :
The Creality Ender 3 S1 comes in a relatively compact cardboard box with ample foam protection on all four sides.Assembly is simple and should take no more than 20 minutes Each type included in the package includes an additional screw,In case one of them gets damaged or lost.
Design:
Using the smooth aluminum extrusion, more clean than other printer,These smooth extrusion also helps to keep the printer clean.
Creality put more time and thought into designing the Ender 3 S1, as the attention to detail is evident. The spool holder and consumable sensor can be adjusted and used on either side, depending on the location of the printer.
Ire connector installed on the silicone,it helps protect them from dust and debris when not in use.
The main attraction of the Ender 3 S1 is the new Creality "Sprite" extruder. This is Creality's first short-range extruder, which is well constructed and does not absorb water.
The Sprite extruder is compact and weighs about 260 grams. It also features a 3.5:1 gear ratio for improved accuracy and torque. But the best part is that the hot end is integrated in the extruder for better control of the filament.
The Sprite extruder on the Ender 3 S1 includes a small strip for connecting the heater box, thermistor, fan, and CR touch sensor.
The parts cooling fan is a single 4010 radial fan located at the front of the extruder and at an Angle to the nozzle to improve airflow. There is also a smaller radial fan on the left side of the extruder that blows air over the extruder's radiator to keep the heat sink cool.It does a good job, especially considering the heat breaker is not bimetallic.
The Ender 3 S1 hot end is lined with PTFE, so do not expect to print at temperatures above 240C for long periods of time, as the tube will begin to degrade and produce harmful fumes.
The Slice's LGX radiator, which is 17.5 mm long. It's only 1.5mm shorter than a normal heat shield, so it should be a very simple upgrade. However, if you want a formal insulation upgrade, then this bimetallic insulation should fit perfectly with your Ender 3 S1.
The Ender 3 S1 comes with an out-of-the-box Creality CR Touch sensor. This means that you can use this sensor to detect and level the bed to generate a grid and then compensate for small inconsistencies in the bed.
The hot bed was probed in a 5×5 grid,It saves a little time by not retracting the probe after each measurement.
Double Z -axis:
Another upgrade to the standard Ender 3 S1 is the use of dual Z-axes.This is important to keep the movement smooth and consistent. Both Z-stepper motors are driven by a single step driver, and the Z-lead screws are kept in sync using closed timing belts.
Belt:
Ender 3 S1 uses Gates belt, which is one of the best belts you can buy for a 3D printer.
Another good thing about the Ender 3 S1 is the use of wires with crimping ferrule.Creality usually tinned wires with solder, but for S1, they added a sleeve, which is a big improvement in terms of safety.
Ender 3 S1 was fitted with a ferrite core to minimize electrical interference.
Hot-bed:
Another notable addition to the Ender 3 S1 is the magnetic flexible print surface. It has a Buildtak-like surface, so you can easily remove prints when you're done. You can even print PLA and TPU without heating the bed.The magnets are strong enough to hold the flexible plates firmly in place and print large objects on them without any problems.
While adhesion is good, make sure you have good Z-base separation when printing on this surface, as the filaments may get stuck too tightly if you print too close to the bed.
screen:
It's a plain 4.3-inch color screen with a click wheel that moves between menu interfaces. The screen is nice and responsive, with lots of options available.
Power supply:
The Creality Ender 3 S1 has a branded 350W 24V power supply.
Drawer:
Some Creality machines have a handy drawer at the bottom of the printer. But the Ender 3 S1 drawer is much larger.Considering how much extra space is available underneath the cover, I like that Creality chooses to use that space effectively and gives us a good storage option.
noise:
Compared to Creality's other 3D printers, the Ender 3 S1 is quieter.When it's free, it's really quiet.
