This firmware update allows your 3D printer to exclusively read files sliced by CHITUBOX v1.9.0 (and above), CHITUBOX Pro, as well as Lychee Slicer.

The update of Sonic Mighty 8K can be done in 3 steps:
[STEP 1] - Save the unzipped firmware files to a formatted USB drive
[STEP 2] - Press the file "FPGA_v3218.RBF" on the touch panel to update
[STEP 3] - Reboot the printer, and the rest of the update will start automatically
The detailed instructions are as follows:
[STEP 1]
- Download the firmware file to your PC and unzip the ".rar" file
- Prepare a USB drive (8GB or 16GB, and USB 2.0 is preferred). Format it to FAT32 and set its allocation to 2048 bytes
- Save the files "FPGA_v3218.RBF" & "ChituUpgrade.bin" in the root folder of the formatted USB
- Turn on your printer, then plug the USB drive into the printer
[STEP 2]
- On the touch panel's homepage, tap the "Print" icon > USB > FPGA_v3218.RBF > Update > Update
- "phrozen FPGA Update" is displayed on the touch panel and waits for a progress bar to finish
- "FPGA update" is completed > OK
[STEP 3]
- Restart the printer
- "phrozen System Update" is displayed on the touch panel, and wait for a progress bar to finish
- The printer reboots, and you may set up your printer or skip the steps
- Select USB File, then delete the firmware files (ChituUpgrade.bin, and FPGA_v3218.RBF)
- Unplug the USB drive
- Done
*Note:
- After the update is completed, the USB drive is recommended to be formatted again to avoid plugging into other models of printers which may lead to printer failure

Instructions
Download the firmware file to your PC and unzip the .rar file.
- Save all files to a clean USB drive. (We recommend formatting the USB drive to FAT32)
- Turn off your resin 3D printer, then plug the USB drive into your printer.
- Turn on the printer.
- The firmware will update automatically.
- After three loud beeps, wait for a few seconds, before turning off the printer.
- Remove the USB drive.
- Firmware update is now complete.
Once you've successfully updated the firmware on your printer, please format the USB drive in case you've accidentally updated any other device.

Here's how you can download firmware for 3D printers using Phrozen OS operating systems.
Instructions
- Download one of the following SD card formatting software:
- SD Formatter: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/
- Win32: https://win32diskimager.download/
- Format the SD card. (Tutorial video)
- Download the firmware file to your PC, then write in the file to the SD card.
- The firmware update is now complete.
