On a cold morning, the resin you used yesterday may pour more slowly even though your slicer settings are identical. Pigmented resin can also settle during storage. If you routinely print miniatures, prototypes, or small batches, preparing the bottle the same way each time gives you a more consistent starting point when you compare prints.
What the HeatMixer HM100 does
The ANTINSKY HeatMixer HM100 rolls a closed resin bottle in alternating directions. It offers two rolling speeds, a mixing-only mode, and optional 40 °C and 50 °C heating presets. The product is designed for compatible 250 g, 500 g, and 1 kg bottles. Check your bottle shape and fit before ordering, since bottles with the same nominal weight can have different dimensions.
A simple routine before your first print
- Check the resin instructions. Look up the manufacturer’s recommended preparation and printing temperature range. Use mixing-only mode when the resin does not call for heating or when the available presets exceed its guidance.
- Prepare a sealed bottle. Follow the mixer instructions for seating the bottle, select an appropriate rolling mode, and keep the cap closed during preparation.
- Keep the rest of the print comparable. When you try a new prep routine, start with a small calibration piece. Record the resin, printer profile, room conditions, and outcome so you can compare the next run.
Who will get the most use from it?
The HM100 fits a bench where bottles come out of storage regularly or where several operators share the same printer. Mixing happens before the resin goes into the vat, so the temperature of the vat and printer still matters during a long job. Keep exposure, build-plate setup, and supports in your troubleshooting checklist if defects persist.
