How to do maintenance after resin 3d printing - Antinsky3d

Maintenance After Printing

Set a maintenance routine for your 3D printer so that it remains in good condition and produces great results. In this article, we will provide an overview of daily maintenance required after each printing session in order to keep your 3D printer in good shape:

Cleaning the Building Plate

After removing your 3D models from the building plate, wipe it with a kitchen paper towel. Then spray a small amount of 95% sanitizing alcohol and use a clean kitchen paper towel to dry the surface. Finally, fasten the building plate back onto the 3D printer.

Cleaning the Resin Vat

Filter out excess resin by using the funnel provided in the toolbox. Then use a clean paper towel to remove the remaining resin in the vat. Spray 95% sanitizing alcohol onto the FEP film and clean the leftover resin with a kitchen paper towel. For a more detailed tutorial, please refer to this article.

Cleaning the LCD

Check to see if there is any cured resin on the LCD. Use a blower to remove dust and lint from the LCD. Apply a small amount of 95% sanitizing alcohol on the LCD and wipe in one direction.

Cleaning the Interiors

Inspect to see if there are any leaks or spills. Spray 95% sanitizing alcohol and use a paper towel or fiber cloth to clean the interior of the 3D printer.
