The Raise3D E2CF 3D printer is made of high quality materials. It has a system of two independent extruders (IDEX) which allows for a significant reduction in production time and enables operation in duplicate or mirror mode. It can print at temperatures up to 300 ° C and at speeds of 30 - 150 mm / s. By default, it has a 0.4mm diameter nozzle - 0.6mm and 0.8mm nozzle are optional. The built-in 7-inch touch screen with print preview makes it much easier to work with the device.

Raise3D E2CF works perfectly with Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF filament and its support material. More carbon fiber reinforced filaments will be available for E2CF in the future, such as Raise3D's PPA CF, PET CF, PPS CF (with a printing temperature between 280-300ºC). The E2CF only supports authorized filaments and printing profiles. Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF is a short carbon fiber reinforced filament with excellent stiffness and strength, heat resistance, low warping and low water absorption. The material has an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and annealing further improves its mechanical properties and dimensional stability. So it is suitable for replacing metal in the production of some light components.

As a result, it significantly improves the quality of rounded surfaces and recesses of printed elements. After printing, supports can be easily removed or detached from the printed parts.

What is IDEX? Why is IDEX important?

The E2CF 3D printer uses a system of two independent extruders (IDEX) which makes the extruders can operate independently of each other along the same axis during printing to perform more advanced functions. Thanks to the IDEX system, one extruder can remain stationary and move aside while the other extruder prints the model, minimizing the risk of the nozzle interfering with the stationary extruder during double or single extrusion printing.

The IDEX system allows both mirror and duplicate printing. Mirror mode prints the model and the inverse of the same model at the same time saving the effort of creating an additional project file for the inverted model and saves the extra time that is usually spent on printing the inverted model separately. Duplicate mode uses both extruders to simultaneously print the model and its exact copy.

Easy replacement of print heads

The E2CF printer allows you to easily replace the printheads. The print heads can be easily removed and replaced in a short time. Any spare Easy Swap printheads can be easily "paired" with hardened nozzles and nozzles of various sizes, such as 0.4mm, 0.6mm and 0.8mm, to replace them in just a few easy steps and go back to printing.
